Last Hunt of the Season: Anderson Creek (near Lillington) will have its last European Tower Hunt of the season March 13, 2010.. You will shoot between 50 and 125 times if you go, depending on how many people shoot, 10-30 shooters are possible... Take a 20-12 gauge shotgun with about 100 shells #4 shot, high power is preferable as the distance is comparable to duck hunting.. Also at least one Hunting Orange item, a hat is best. Cost is $100 each .. Birds are divided among all hunters equally. The last, the Saturday morning after the snow, time I shot, there were 11 shooters and 56 birds. 47 were shot and divided with each of us taking home at least 4 nice pheasants.. Cleaning is available for $2.25 each.. The hunt starts at 10 AM ..
