One of SWGC’s former Juniors Chris Hudock
has been selected to represent the United States on the National Junior
Team at the World Championships in Munich, Germany 1-7 August. The US
Pistol Coach, Sergey Luzov, has informed us the total cost for Chris
will be approximately $4500. Unfortunately USA Shooting doesn't have
funds to pay the expenses for the Junior Pistol Team.
Chris won a gold, three silvers and one bronze medal in the Junior
Category at the USA Shooting National Championships recently to earn
berths on all five Junior Teams ( Int’l. Rapid Fire, Free Pistol. Air
Pistol, Sport Pistol and Standard Pistol). He finished second
individually at the NRA Inercegiate Pistol Championships and was
selected for all three All American Teams (Air Pistol, Free Pistol and
Standard Pistol ). He was NRA all American Junior Champion in Free
Pistol and Standard Pistol in the Open International Sectional fired in
March, at The Citadel. He went to The Citadel with no pistol competition
experience. However, he had gained a lot of top level experience with
rifle thru SWGC’s Rifle Programs, which has helped him to excel quickly
in pistol. This is his second year of shooting pistol in competition. He
has earned this opportunity to compete in Munich.
SWGC is helping to defray some of Chris’s travel expenses so he can
compete, if you would like to help please send your contribution made
out to SWGC , marked "Chris Hudock" on the memo line no later than
Monday July 26th to:
