Classification: NRA classification system will be used. Unclassified shooters will fire in the Master Class or will be assigned a class if holding a classification card in other smallbore categories or high power rifle.
Rules: Current NRA Smallbore Rifle rules will govern. For additional information about the National Rifle Association (NRA), you can check out their web site at http://www.nra.org/ or call 703-267-1000.
Equipment: Competitors will hang their own targets. Clips will be required for hanging targets. Backer targets will be used to determine number of shots and crossfires. A limited number of rifles, spotting scopes and other equipment will be available for new shooters on a first-come, first-served basis. All competitors are to furnish their own ammunition.
Course of Fire: All matches will be fired at either 50 or 100 yards, prone position, for a total of 160 rounds (120 rounds for Metric 1200). The allowable type of rifle sights depend on the date of the match. The conventional match course of fire is as follows:

Match 1: Dewar - 20 shots, A-23/5 target; 20 shots, 100 yards, A-25.
Match 2: 40 shots, 100 yards, A-25 targets.
Match 3: 40 shots, 50 yards, A-27 targets.
Match 4: 40 shots, 50 yards, A-23/5 targets.
Match 5: Grand Aggregate (Prone) - Total of Matches 1, 2, 3, & 4.
Match 6: 20 shots, 50yards, A-23 targets - Offhand position
Match 7: 20 shots, 50yards, A-23 targets - Kneeling position
Match 8: Three Position Aggregate - Match 1 (50 Yd), 6 & 7.

The metric match course of fire is as follows:

Match 1: Dewar - 20 shots 50 yds, A-51 tgt; 20 shots, 100 yds, A-33.
Match 2: 40 shots, 100 yards, A-33 targets.
Match 3: 40 shots, 50 yards, A-51targets.
Match 4: Grand Aggregate (Prone) - Total of matches 1, 2 & 3.
Match 5: 20 shots, 50 yards, A-51 target - Offhand position.
Match 6: 20 shots, 50 yards, A-51 target - Kneeling position.
Match 7: Three Position Aggregate - Match 1 (50 Yd), 5 & 6.

Scoring: All scoring will be done by range officials. The plug type scoring gauge will be restricted to use by the range personnel, including the range officer, statistical officer, or supervisor.
Challenges: A challenge fee of $2.00 will be charged for each challenge made. See NRA Rule 16 for correct procedure.
Awards: Classes may be combined for award purposes if there are less than 5 competitors entered in a class. NRA award points will be given to high overall and the winners of each class.
Entry Limit: Post entries will be accepted up to the capacity of the range (24).
Entry Fee: Package Entry Fee (Each match & Agg) of $15.00 or $12.00 for SWGC Members. $8.00 for Juniors (Certificates awarded to Junior winners)
