Metallic sights only. A limited number of Club M-1 Garands will be available at no additional cost for competitor use. Contact the Match Director in advance to reserve a club rifle.
Course of Fire: All NRA Approved matches will be fired at 100 yards for a total of 50 rounds; a 5 minute sighting-in period will be available at the start of the match. Sighter shots may be taken from any position.

Sporter Rifle allows matches of 32 or 40 rounds: equal # of shots are fired in each position, ie. 8-8-8-8 or 10-10-10-10
Awards: NRA Award Points or cash awards may be given in each class in the individual matches and in the Grand Aggregate. Classes may be combined for award purposes if there are less than 3 competitors entered in a class.

Entry Fee: SWGC Member, Seniors (55 and up) and visiting match directors $15, Non-Member $20, Juniors $5.00 (covers NRA fee of $4.50 and targets).
Weather Policy: Severe weather may cause the Match Director to delay relays until the situation improves. Matches will be fired regardless of mildly inclement weather, but not if lightening threatens. If at least one match relay is completed, this will constitute a match and no refunds will be given.
  1. Every match event will start on time, based on the Match Bulletin and based on the current weather conditions as determined by the Match Director.
  2. The Match may be suspended if the following weather issues are present:
    • Lightening on the range
    • Rain or snow so hard that you cannot see the targets
    • Targets so wet that they will not stay intact for scoring the hits.
    • Winds so severe that targets will not stay in the frames
  3. Match Director will review the weather conditions and grant a 15 minute delay in the Match as appropriate to allow conditions to improve. If weather conditions do not improve after several delays, the Match Director may halt the Match and use available scores to grade the competitors.
