Time:
The second and fifth Saturdays of each month. Registration is from 8:00
to 9:00 am. The mandatory safety briefing at 9:00 a.m. with shooting
starting immediately thereafter.

Eligibility:
Match is open to the public and to all interested cowboys/girls. Single
Action Shooting Society (S.A.S.S.) membership is highly encouraged but
is not mandatory.
Classification:
Classification is determined by the type of single-action pistol used:
modern - adjustable sights, traditional (Colts/Colt clones), duelist
(one handed shooters), blackpowder, blackpowder cartridge, ladies, and
juniors (age 12 - 17).
Rules:
Current S.A.S.S. rules apply. The Spirit of the Game is mandatory. All
cowboys/girls will wear cowboy hats, long sleeve shirts and long pants
or dresses for ladies, and cowboy boots or leather boots (if a
disability exists). Ear and eye protection for competitors/spectators
are mandatory. The match is held on a "cold range." Guns are loaded and
unloaded only at designated tables. All questons are to be directed to
the match director. For additional information about the Single Action

Equipment:
At least have one (1) but it is best to have two (2) S.A.S.S. approved
single action pistols (Colt, Colt-clones, Ruger, etc.); one (1) lever
action pistol caliber only rifle (Winchester 66, 73, 92, 94, Marlins,
Italian copies - S.A.S.S. approved); and a shotgun (double without
auto-ejectors or pumps with exposed hammer (e.g., Winchester 97 or
similar).
Course
of Fire: Six [6] scenarios will be available at each match. An
explanation of each scenario will be made before shooting the event.
Entry
Fee: SWGC Members: $10.00 per competitor, Non-Member: $15.00 per
competitor. Juniors [12 - 17] shoot free if accomapnied by a parent or
guardian.
