The match starts at 9:30 am. Practice from 9:15 to 9:25 am, time permitting.

Entry Limit: There are 20 firing points. Limited to one relay. Advance entries are appreciated.
Eligibility: The matches are open to all competitors age 16 and over. NRA membership is not required for participation in NRA Approved Tournaments but highly encouraged. Liability waiver must be completed prior to participation.
Classification: Current NRA Pistol Rules Section 19 National Pistol Classification will be used.
Rules: Current NRA Pistol Rules will govern the tournament, which includes Empty Chamber Indicators for this year. Eye and ear protection are required. Scoring: All strings of fire will be scored after ten shots. Competitors will score, repair and replace targets. Overlays may be used by competitors to determine shot value. Plug type scoring gauges may only be used by Match Officials.
Challenge: The challenge fee is $2.00. The fee is returned if the challenge is upheld.

Match #1: .22 cal. Slow Fire, 20 shots, 50 yards. 90 shots - 900 points
Match #2: .22 cal. National Match Course, 30 shots, 50 & 25 yds.
Match #3: .22 cal. Timed Fire, 20 shots, 25 yards.
Match #4: .22 cal. Rapid Fire, 20 shots, 25 yards.
Match #5: .22 cal. Aggregate of Matches 1 - 4.
Match #6: Center Fire Slow Fire, 20 shots, 50 yards 90 shots - 900 points
Match #7: Center Fire National Match Course, 30 shots, 50 & 25 yds.
Match #8: Center Fire Timed Fire, 20 shots, 25 yards.
Match #9: Center Fire Rapid Fire, 20 shots, 25 yards.
Match #10: Center Fire Aggregate of Matches 6 - 9.
Match #11: .45 cal. Slow Fire, 20 shots, 50 yards 90 shots - 900 points

Match #16: Grand Aggregate of Matches 5, 10 and 15. 270 shots - 2700 points
NOTE: Targets used for the 25 yard rapid or timed fire will be B-8(P) paper and B-8(C) repair center. Targets used for the 50 yard will be B-6(P) paper and B-6(C) repair center.
Awards:Open winner in each individual match and in each aggregate, awarded to the competitor with the highest score. First place awarded to competitors in each class having (3) or more individuals; (6) or more to provide a second place award and (9) or more to provide a third place award. When there are less than (3) competitors within a class, they will be combined as follows: from Marksman to Sharpshooter to Expert to Master to High Master. When there are less than (3) competitors in the High Master class, they will compete for the open winner award only. Rule 19.6 "Assigned Classification" will apply to unclassified competitors. The award schedule will be determined by the actual number of competitors.

General: No lunch or food service available. The range facilities include a covered firing line with an automatic turning mechanism, camping space, running water, and indoor restrooms. No power hook-ups available. Motels are located on I-85, about 5 miles from the range. There must be strict adherence to range safety, range commands and Sir Walter Gun Club rules at all times.
Directions: The Sir Walter Gun Club's range facilities are located at 2507 Hester Road (SR 1129) which is north of Creedmoor, North Carolina. A MAP is available in addition to these directions. From Raleigh, proceed north on NC 50 to Creedmoor, then through Creedmoor to U.S. 15. Proceed north on U.S. 15 for approximately 3 miles to the crossroads of Hester; turn right on Hester Road and go 0.6 miles. The entrance to the Club is on the left.
From Interstate I-85 South, exit at the Creedmoor Exit # 191 (NC Highway 56). Drive east into Creedmoor till you get to the traffic light. The Ford dealer will be on your left. Turn left at the light (US Highway 15) and follow it north towards Oxford, NC. Approximately 2.5 miles north of Creedmoor, turn right onto Hester Road (SR 1129). The range is on your left about 0.6 miles down Hester Road.
From Interstate I-85 North, exit at Exit # 202 (US Highway 15). Drive south on US 15 about 8 miles and turn left onto Hester Road (SR 1129). The range is on your left about 0.6 miles down Hester Road.
Accommodations: The Sir Walter Gun Club facilities include a covered firing line, camping space (no hookups) for competitors (under the supervision, and at the discretion of the Match Director), running water and indoor restrooms. Bring your own lunch. Motels and camping facilities are located a short distance from the range along Interstate 85.
